SKD Türkiye (BCSD Türkiye) published the ‘Demolition Waste Management Guide that will occur as a result of Urban Transformation, Earthquake and Other Possible Disasters’. The guide, whose main sponsors are IC İçtaş Construction and Akçansa, whose support sponsor is Çimsa, whose in-kind contribution is provided by the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye (TKYB), whose content was created by the Founding Partner of İO Çevre Çözümleri, Prof. Dr. Erdem Görgün, was introduced at an event held at the İTÜ Süleyman Demirel Culture Center on June 12.

The opening speeches of the launch meeting of the guide were made by İstanbul Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu and SKD Türkiye Board of Directors Chairman Ediz Günsel. The program continued with İO Çevre Founding Partner Prof. Dr. Erdem Görgün sharing the demolition waste project findings. İsmail Uyar, Deputy General Manager of IC İçtaş Construction, one of the main sponsors of the project, took part as a speaker at the event where a good practices panel was held.
