IC Holding updated its “Sustainability Governance Structure”, which it created in line with its central sustainability management system and “Impact of Development” sustainability strategy. With the CEO change in September, Can Çaka took over the Sustainability Committee Presidency, and managers of new companies and units were added to the committee.

IC Holding’s governance structure consists of the Sustainability Committee and Working Groups affiliated to the committee. The Working Groups conduct studies focusing on the targets and improvements in the Sustainable Development Goals (Holding: SDG5, SDG8, SDG9, SDG13, Sectoral: SDG11, SDG12, SDG14) that IC Holding and the sectors prioritize.

In line with the updated structure, a Chair and Co-Chair were appointed to all working groups to actively develop projects for needs and to follow up on relevant actions, while the IC Sustainability Team, which forms the Working Groups, was also strengthened with new members.

The IC Sustainability Team, with its 65 members, started its new term training. The “IC Sustainability Team Certificate Program”, created in cooperation with Sustainee to follow current national and international developments and increase competencies, consists of 8 different 14.5-hour modules, from sustainable finance to supply chain management, from sustainability reporting to climate solutions.
