At an event held in honor of International Women's Day on March 8, which was attended by all group company employees, IC Holding declared that it is a signatory to the United Nations' "Women's Empowerment Principles" (WEPs), which aim to promote gender equality and strengthen the position of women in the business world.
IC Holding and Group Companies emphasized the importance of gender equality and took their work in this field one step further. WEPs, supported by more than 10 thousand companies in more than 135 countries, is known as the world's largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative.
This important step is considered as an indicator that IC Holding is progressing towards creating a safer and happier work environment among its employees while consolidating women's employment in its sectors. The opening speech of the event, which was held online with the participation of IC Holding and Group Companies employees, was made by IC Holding CEO Murad Bayar and CHRO Nazire Ulusoy. Melek Pulatkonak, founder of Turkish Women's International Network, also took part in the event with her interview themed "Own Your Story and Make a Difference".
