Trakya Electricity Distribution Inc. (TREDAŞ) uses its technological infrastructure for the stork nests that come to the region to fulfill their seasonal migrations, in addition to carrying out maintenance work on kilometers-long lines using a thermal camera drone.

TREDAŞ teams continue to support social projects while providing electricity to their customers in Tekirdağ, Edirne and Kırklareli, where they provide electricity services, with 300 thousand poles, 20 thousand kilometers of lines, and more than ten thousand transformers.

Teams make on-site determinations in Trakya, which is on the bird migration route, to ensure the continuity of stork nests and healthy energy flow.

The teams, who carried out the maintenance work of the stork nests by using the technological infrastructure, via the drone, took care of the deteriorated or damaged nests and placed them back in their places.

TREDAŞ has been protecting the safety of storks in its new nest project for nearly six years, on a journey that began with a sense of responsibility towards nature and living things.
