The "100th Anniversary Republican Women's Run", organized specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, was held on Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. The revenues obtained from the running event, with the slogan of 'Every step of ours is for good', were donated to Darüşşafaka Society, TOG, TOÇEV, TED, Turkish Athletics Foundation and YANINDAYIZ Association.

Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge hosted a historical event. The Republic Women's Race, which started with the signal of National Women's Volleyball Team Captain Eda Erdem Dündar and in which only women participated, went beyond being a sports activity and drew attention to the principle of 'gender equality'.

"100th Anniversary Republican Women's Run " organized with the theme "Republic is Strong with Women, Women are Strong with the Republic", started early in the morning and was enlivened with stage lessons of sports trainers and the Republic Band. 3 thousand 186 registered runners participated in the 5-kilometer run.
